AS THE SUN SETS...
…on SUMMER (almost), I wanted to drop 10 gratitude gems from the last three months.
I taught A LOT of yoga. Specifically on the beach for the first time (which. let me tell you, is a magical experience).
Experienced another first by teaching a historical fiction class for The Loft Literary Center. (*If you feel like you missed out, take a class with me this fall).
Managed to regularly create new content for this blog — and this blog. (*It’s a good thing too…since I am compensated for it.)
Met my boyfriend (and actually enjoyed each other’s company enough to become a couple).
Completed my first ultra-running event. (No regrets about participating in it. BUT it was beyond CHALLENGING to say the least.)

Visited Vancouver for the third time. And embarked on a few nature adventures with artist and friend extraordinaire Jenie Gao.
Five days of quality time with close friends (shoutout to the Wagner family!) who took a family road trip to visit us in MN.
Listening to audiobooks, whenever and wherever, I was able. (Current listen: “We Don't Talk About Carol” by Kristen L. Berry)
Celebrated my fur baby’s 5th birthday by spoiling her with a pup cup from Caribou Coffee, plus a burger & fries from Culver’s.
Saw Tate McRae perform live again with my kiddo.(This year’s concert was just as AWESOME as last year! However if you’re not familiar with her music, you can hear a song — or two — on my Summer 2025 playlist.)
Here’s hoping the sensational vibes of this summer linger long enough to ensure the fall gets off to a FABULOUS start! ~Rachel
